Volunteer Opportunities

The library is always in need of volunteers. Volunteers work in three hour shifts assisting the staff with library tasks, including shelving books and checking books in and out for patrons. If you are not able to volunteer on a regular basis, there are other opportunities available. If you would like to help with the children's story time, plan special events, or help with our special programs, please contact us!  Also see the Friends of the Library page for more information.

Teen Volunteer Program

Students in grades 7-12 are invited to apply for volunteer shifts at the community library. Community service hours along with fun, treats, and an opportunity to win a scholarship during senior year are some of the perks of volunteer work.  Please stop by the library or call (512) 263-2885 for more information.
