will be located at the Hill Country Galleria in front of the Bee
Cave Library.
Are You Ready to Get Organized? The
Library and Barnes and Noble are sponsoring a presentation
entitled "10 Tips to Declutter Your Home" on Wednesday, May 14th
at 7 PM at the Barnes & Noble at Hill Country Galleria. The
program will be presented by professional organizer
Angela Ploetz; the
hour-long program is free and no pre-registration is required.
National Library Week Essay Contest Winners Announced
Over 70 essays were submitted to the library's National
Library Week essay contest. Madison Silverman won in the K-2
category, Jessica McCaskill won in the 3rd-5th grade category,
and Veronica Lien won in the 6th-8th grade level.
Congratulations to
these creative folks, and to all the
wonderful essays the library received.

"Impromptu" Genealogy Sessions: The Library
is continuing the Genealogy Sessions, with Katherine
Scattergood. Every Friday morning the library will be open
early, 9:00-10:00am, for genealogy research only. Preregistration is not needed for
these sessions.
Access to
your account, the TexShare Databases, and NoveList
is through the Web Catalog. This simplifies accessing
these services because all you need is your library card number
and phone number. A separate id and password is not needed for
each service.
NoveList: NoveList is a tool to help you find a great fiction book
that matches your preferences.
NoveList contains read-alike lists, information about authors,
and even book discussion guides. Access to NoveList is through
the Web Catalog
page.
Interlibrary Loans:
Interlibrary Loan
(ILL) allows Lake Travis Community Library card holders access
to materials which are not available from the Library's
collection. A request form is available at the library or you
can obtain it
here.
